Finally I have managed to complete the RAID Shadow Legends Faction Crypt and got myself Lydia Deathsiren. It wasn’t easy to complete the last several factions. It took some understanding to build a faction team for each Shadow Legend faction. And of course a bit of luck to summon some good champions to take on each level.
Summoning Legendaries Paramount Strategies Scheme RAID Shadow Legend
It’s tough to get legendaries in RAID Shadow Legends, let alone trying to get that most coveted powerful Champion. I came up with some paramount strategies scheme to give a chance against the low probability and hopefully the law of averages would chance upon you. However it is still as tough as ever. There are times when the odds are just against you! All I could get were the Rares, and not even an Epic! It feels like the system has scam you!
RAID Shadow Legends Gacha Grinding
Why am I still grinding through this RAID Shadow Legends game! Ouch! Since my last blog, I managed to gacha some Legendaries. Even got a double legendary from the double legendary summon event! That was a first for me. Unfortunately, they gave one good and one bad legendary. Sigh. The initial excitement of seeing the golden swirl during the summoning process became somewhat of a letdown.
RAID Shadow Legend Chaos Theory Guide to Summoning Legendaries
The difficulty of claiming a legendary champion with the super low probablity of 0.5% seems really difficult. With enough Mystery, Ancient, Void and Sarcred shards, you could try to overcome it with some law of attraction strategies. The asian method is the paramount tactics of trying to overcome this adverse law of probability. It isn't foolproof, but anything is better than pulling hairs!
My RAID Shadow Legend Video Recap
RAID Shadow Legend is celebrating their 4th anniversary and they made a video recap of my game progress so far. It has been a long grind and I think my overall stats are not too bad. It has not been easy to push the champion stats to a higher level and whack those dungeon bosses and arena PVP.
I started playing it way back around Dec 2019 and stopped for a year in 2020, and restarted it again in Oct 2021. And have not stopped playing, although I’m reconsidering it. Just don’t want to let go of those high specs and good champions at this moment. As a free to play gamer, the grinding process is really tough. However looking at the resource offering prices, it just doesn’t seem like a good exchange value. Besides, my country's current exchange rate is highly unfavorable for spending. Sorry dear Plarium developers for not putting any coins in your coffers. Thanks for the beautiful graphics and something challenging to do!
The Long Grind of Playing RAID Shadow Legends
It has been a long slow grind playing this RAID Shadow Legends mobile game. I started out in October 2019. Played for a year, and then stopped for almost a year. Then restarted again in September 2021 and had been grinding through it. It has been long and hard with a lot of daily grinding to get to my current high level.
The gacha system of getting good champions is rather frustrating. Most of the time, the random spin wouldn’t get you any good champions at all. Looking at the list of heroes, I gather about 80% of their Epics and probably 50% of their Legendary are pretty much useless. Needless to say, more than 90% of the rares wouldn’t be of much use either.

How to Build A Strong Overall Champion in RAID Shadow Legends
I have been whacking RAID Shadow Legends for quite some time now and sort of have an understanding on how to build a strong champion. It feels great to be able to whack some bosses, get to an advanced faction wars stages and win some arena PVPs. Although my builds are not perfect, it did get me by.
Building a good champion is not easy. The number one most needed resource are Silver coins! I could never get enough of it and kept running short. You would need a hefty, and I mean really hefty amount of Silver Coins to push those artifacts and accessories to the max of level 16!
Which Rare Champions to keep in RAID Shadow Legends?
As the game progresses, you will start to amass quite a fair number of RAID Shadow Legends. Soon you will find yourself running out of slots to keep your champions. To free up the slots you will need to weed out which champions are worth keeping, and which to use as fodder to level up more useful champions.
This question came to my mind and I am sure to many players as well. Judging from the comments from various forums. There weren’t any hard and fast rules. There were some sites even listing a hefty large number of champions too! That won’t do. Not enough slots to spare!
RAID Shadow Legend Spider’s Den Stage 20 Cleared Finally! ★
Amongst the Dungeons in RAID Shadow Legends, the Spider’s Den is one of the most difficult dungeons to get through. And today I finally cleared stage 20! Perhaps it is nothing to shout about, considering there are so many strong and powerful players out there.I considered it a personal milestone to clear it.
My RAID Shadow Legends Video Recap
It's been quite a long slog playing RAID Shadow Legends. With the anniversary, Plarium made a video recapping my ardous adventure playing their game. I was rather surprised that I am amongst the nearly at the 80% top players.
RAID Shadow Legend Mastery: Warmaster vs Giant Slayer
I have been trying to figure out which RAID Shadow Legends final mastery was better, between the Warmaster vs Giant Slayer and to a lesser extent, Flawless Execution. Trying to get the best bang out of the damage inflicted against the opponent from this final mastery requires a bit of calculation. Most players and guides would go for Warmaster, though sometimes they would go for Giant Slayer as well. So which one is the better bet?
RAID Shadow Legend, my resurgence gameplay
In my last blog way back in October 2020 when I bid adieu to RAID Shadow Legend, well, I made a comeback around September 2021 this year! With the Covid-19 pandemic still raging. I have some spare time while working from home. Apart from tinkering with reviving old PCs and Raspberry Pi, Arduino and learning Japanese with the Duolingo app, I decided to give this game another go.

War Robots October Update
So here’s the quick low down on the good, the bad and the ugly of this War Robots game.
War Robots Recent May 2018 update, Free-For-All mode & etc
I think with the new update, I would have hoped for some improvement on the game balance. There are still lopsidedness in the mix of team players ability and strengths. There were situation where the opposing red team has way too many superior players and made quick work out of the under strength blue team. It didn’t take long before the game was considered a lost cause. However due to the penalty of quitting the game early, I just have to face the bitter pill of being obliterated and hope that I have caused a high enough damage points to be at least in the top two spot of the losing team to avoid getting negative rating.
War Robots - Supply Line Drop, Battle League Rewards and Component Collection
The new robots and weapons were much more powerful. And if too many of these were in the team line up, the gameplay could really suffer and made it less enjoyable. So I do hope the gamemakers would balance the gameplay out. For example I found the Shocktrain weapon to be too powerful and a range that gives it too good a coverage. A shot from it reduced my robot durability by as much 30% and even if it bounced onto my robot, the reduction was much too devastating. If a weapon should be able to hit multiple targets should have far less damage logically speaking. The damage should be shared amongst the several robots that it hits. Despite Pixonics reducing the damage inflicted, it was still unfair to the players in the receiving end of the stick. Pixonic should take note of this.
